Water of Salvation - Christian Life Devotion

Our Christian Life Devotion Verse:

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
- Isaiah 12:3

When preparing a journey in most part of Israel,
a lot of things should be remembered. You should
familiar the trail or have a tour guide instead.
Some stuffs should be brought too like food, tent,
clothing and most important thing, a full bottle of
water. These will protect you from the sun, and from
the thirst caused by the heat,wind and dryness."


One of the most important things to survival is water.
That's what a Samaritan woman thought when she came
to the well in Samaria. (John 4:7). At noon, she came
to draw water and was surprised when a young Jewish,
Jesus said "Will you give me a drink?". Jesus our God
broke a serious practice with His request that Jews do
not associate with Samaritans - she was a dirty woman,
had been married many times.

God said "Everyone who drinks this water will be
thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him
will never thirst".(John 4:13). The water that God is
offering is far better than any other water or even that
from the well. Jesus had "living water," which only
He could offer. And as christian, I believe the 
woman received that water Jesus offered and 
was spiritually cleansed, because she shared t
o everyone her testimony.

Are you searching for water to drink? Are you still
thirsting spiritually? Do you also need the water He
offers? God is always waiting for you to quench your
thirst with "the water of salvation" and the gift of eternal life.
