Our Christian Life Devotion Verse:
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear
with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth, and
everything in it will be laid bare.
- 2 Peter 3:10 (NIV)
Scientists foretell us about what would be the outcome of the earth
after 10 millions years. According to them the earth will die, in other words,
all living things here on earth will die due to sun's extreme heat. The sun will
be too close resulting to earth's end. It also means that all our possessions,
riches and accomplishments will be vanished.

As christian point of view, this happening isn't surprising anymore.
We know that the time will come earth will be destroyed "with extreme heat"
(2 Peter 3:10). On the other hand this is not a bad news at all for we are
expecting the day when our sinful world will be replaced with the eternal world
that God has promised us, where "righteousness dwells" (2 Peter 3:13).
It does not mean that our worldly lives here on earth is useless. It has a great
importance, because through the way we live having the wisdom that God
granted us we become "partners with God" as He dwells with us in the world.
We should be thankful for God is wonderful and merciful for we will be granted
a place which will be eternal.
Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's
house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there
to prepare a place for you... - John 14:2-3
Stand still and be faithful to God for He wants us to be His instruments in this world
and He promises us a perfect and eternal world to come.
Christian Life Devotion Quote of the Day:
"The earth offers our future uncertainty but with our hopes to God, our future is shining bright"
